अवतल दर्पण के उपयोग (Uses Of Concave Mirror)

अवतल दर्पण के प्रमुख उपयोग निम्नलिखित हैं–
1. अवतल दर्पण का प्रयोग कार, मोटर, टॉर्च, रेलवे इंजन के हैडलाइट आदि में परावर्तक के रूप में किया जाता है।
2. नाक, कान, गला, आँख, दाँत आदि के परीक्षण के लिए चिकित्सकों द्वारा अवतल दर्पण का उपयोग किया जाता है।
3. टेबल लैंपों के शेड के रूप में भी अवतल दर्पण का प्रयोग किया जाता है।
4. अवतल दर्पण में प्रतिबिम्ब बड़ा दिखाई देता है, इसीलिए इसका उपयोग दाढ़ी बनाने के लिए भी किया जाता है।
5. आकाशीय पिण्डों के प्रतिबिम्ब देखने के लिए परावर्ती प्रकार के खगोलीय दूरदर्शी में अवतल दर्पण का प्रयोग किया जाता है।
6. सोलर कुकर में प्रकाश किरणों को एक स्थान पर केन्द्रित करने के लिए अवतल दर्पण का प्रयोग किया जाता है।

The main uses of a concave mirror are–
1. Concave mirror is used as reflector in car, motor, torch, headlight of railway engine etc.
2. Concave mirrors are used by doctors for examination of nose, ear, throat, eyes, teeth etc.
3. A concave mirror is also used as a shade for table lamps.
4. The image appears larger in a concave mirror, hence it is also used for shaving.
5. A concave mirror is used in the reflecting type of astronomical telescope to see the images of celestial objects.
6. A concave mirror is used to focus the light rays in a solar cooker.

उत्तल दर्पण के उपयोग (Uses Of Convex Mirror)

उत्तल दर्पण के प्रमुख उपयोग निम्नलिखित हैं–
1. सड़कों के खम्भों पर लगाये जाने वाले विद्युत बल्ब के परावर्तक के रूप में उत्तल दर्पण का प्रयोग किया जाता है। इससे प्रकाश किरणें अधिक स्थान तक फैल जाती हैं।
2. वाहनों में साइड मिरर के रूप में उत्तल दर्पण का प्रयोग किया जाता है। इससे पीछे से आने वाले वाहन स्पष्ट दिखाई देते हैं।

The following are the major uses of a convex mirror–
1. A convex mirror is used as a reflector of an electric bulb to be installed on road poles. Due to this the light rays spread to a greater place.
2. A convex mirror is used as a side mirror in vehicles. This gives a clear view of oncoming vehicles.

समतल दर्पण के प्रमुख उपयोग निम्नलिखित हैं–
1. घरों एवं दुकानों में प्रतिदिन शीशा देखने के लिए समतल दर्पण का प्रयोग किया जाता है।
2. सजावट करने के लिए मन्दिरों, घरों, आभूषणों की दुकानों आदि में समतल दर्पण का प्रयोग किया जाता है।
3. बहुरूपदर्शी और पारदर्शी उपकरणों में समतल दर्पण का प्रयोग किया जाता है।

The main uses of a plane mirror are–
1. A plane mirror is used to see the mirror everyday in homes and shops.
2. For decoration, plane mirror is used in temples, houses, jewelery shops etc.
3. Plane mirrors are used in kaleidoscope and transparent instruments.
